Since TED and TEDx audiences, communities are unique in their shared attitudes of openness, curiousity and well-meaning generosity, their creative and innovative spirit and also in that people of the audience are every bit as interesting as the speakers on stage, we kindly ask you – similarly to TED and other TEDx conferences – to let us get to know you a little. You can watch videos of the best talks from previous events or browse most of the site without completing this registration, but we do ask you to register if you want to participate in a conference (prior to application) or use certain features of the site. Please allow yourself some time to go through this as we expect more interest than available seats for the conferences and – in order to ensure the most interesting and inspiring conference community possible – applications will be curated to a large extent on the basis of what you share about yourself here.
In the above spirit of openness and curiousity, other members of the community and fellow conference attendees will also be able to see some of your details (name, picture and introduction). Naturally, once you have signed in, you will be able to see the others as well. And although personal contact details like e-mail address or phone number are not accessible for others, we do provide an opportunity for direct e-mail messages through a system (similar to TED’s own) where e-mail addresses are kept hidden on accounts of protecting your privacy even in private messaging.
You will only need to register once as a user. If you have done so, you may edit your personal profile or follow your status with respect to any TEDxDanubia event you applied for after login.

Felhasználói profil regisztráció
Mivel a TEDxDanubia eseményei kapcsán fontos célunk, hogy válogatott – nyitott, kíváncsi, sokoldalú, kreatív és intelligens – közönség, valamint egy bizalmon alapuló, informális, személyes és különleges atmoszféra alakuljon ki, más TEDx konferenciák és a TED gyakorlatával összhangban mi is arra kérünk, engedd meg, hogy e regisztráció segítségével némileg megismerhessünk téged. A korábbi konferenciák legjobb előadásainak videóit persze e nélkül is eléred, s a website nagy részét is szabadon böngészheted, de a konferenciákra való jelentkezéshez és a közösségi funkciók használatához szükséges a regisztráció. Kérjük, vedd komolyan e kérést, mert a konferenciák kapcsán szinte mindig túljelentkezés várható, s a kiválasztási folyamat legfontosabb elemei közé tartoznak a profilban megadott információk.
Annak érdekében, hogy a közösség tagjai általában, a konferencia résztvevői pedig előzetesen is képet kaphassanak egymásról, a név, a kép és a bemutatkozás más regisztráltak számára is elérhető lesz. Így a profil űrlap kitöltésénél vedd figyelembe, hogy ezeket az adatokat nem csak a szervező csapat, hanem a többi regisztrált résztvevő is láthatja majd. Természetesen Te is láthatod mások adatait, de csak a jelszavas belépés után. S bár az elérhetőségek (e-mail cím, telefonszám) nem kerülnek megjelenítésre, a közvetlen üzenetküldésre van lehetőség (a TED.com portál működéséhez hasonlóan). Az email címeket azonban adatvédelmi okokból ekkor is rejtve tároljuk.
Felhasználóként regisztrálnod természetesen csupán egyszer szükséges. Ha megtetted, jelszavas belépés után a saját profil oldaladon a megadott személyes adatokat bármikor átszerkesztheted, és nyomon követheted a konferenciákra való jelentkezéseid státuszait is.
