We would like to thank everybody for applying to be volunteers. We are still trying to delegate various useful tasks to the volunteers.
From now on, please only volunteer for the specific tasks that we post through these pages.
2010. January 07.
We are happy to announce that TEDx Danubia applicants have fully packed Urania in just over a month. Applications posted after 1pm, 7 January 2010 will comprise a waiting list.
We are in the process of negotiating more seats with the movie theatre for people on the waiting list. We will also keep the application form open assuming that further seats will become available due to cancellations and unpaid entry fees. All further available seats will be filled up from the waiting list according to the time of applications and the answers provided to the questions on the form.

We have strated to process the TEDx Danubia participants' applications, but it seems to be a more time-consuming and tedious task than we had originally thought...
We have also had to make technical changes to our registration system, thus it seems that we will start sending out registraton notificatons following the Christmas and New Years' parties. Applicants will receive their e-mails by the 10th of January, 2010.
We kindly ask everyone who would like to personally participate at the first TEDx Danubia event to complete the application form, because this is the single entry point to our registration system. Thank you.

We have held an informal TEDx Danubia volunteers' meeting in a friendly and inspirative atmosphere.
We have received a whole bunch of valuable contribution and help offers from you.
Thank you. This motivates us even further.
Naturally, all those volunteers who could not meet us yet, will also be informed by e-mail about further organization details. We are also looking forward to receive more volunteer input from you.

The introductory event held for the TEDx Danubia speakers and organizers had a friendly atmosphere.
Our enthusiastic TEDx Speakers have received a preliminary training on the special genre of TED Talks. We have uploaded a series of photos of the event to the TEDx Danubia Facebook album.

The first official TEDx conference in Hungary will be held on the 27th of January, 2010 at Urania Movie Theater, Budapest.
