In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our events are called TEDxDanubia, where x stands for an independently organized TED event. At our TEDxDanubia events, TEDTalk videos and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in our neck of the wood. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

We have received numerous questions and offers about the possibilities to cooperate with or support us spreading the spirit of TED in Hungary. Therefore, we have created a 'partnership program' that opens a range of new opportunities to have a deeper insight and closer participation in organizing TEDxDanubia while also contributing to the sustainable nature of the events. TED Experience in Budapest on June 12 & 13

Follow the TEDGlobal conference live webcast with us at the Design Terminal on June 12 & 13. This year TEDGlobal will be held in Scotland on June 10-14. We invite you to watch the exciting TEDGlobal 'Think Again' talks with us live and to join the discussion afterwards. The TEDxDanubia 2012 Community Party was held on November 16th at Akvárium, Budapest. Tickets for this event were sold out in a single day.

World famous photographer Dennis Hodges inspired the audience with his creative ideas and Péter Sváb provided valuable insights into psychology and network theory. The organizing team announced the date and various details about the program of TEDxDanubia 2013 at this event.
